Transitioning

Transitioning can be quite difficult, especially the one that I am in right now. For the military folk out there, let me hear your stories of transitioning.  I am in the U.S. Army about to make the transition back to civilian.  It is going to be tough.  I already see the things that I will miss.  I already see the things I am not going to miss as well.  I will officially be out October 24th but I do have to say I am worried a little about not getting a job.  With my skills that I received from the Army, it will not be difficult to find a job-it is only the apprehensiveness and the fear of it.

There are many things I need to decide.  Will I go to school first?  What exactly will I go to school for?  Will I go to work first?  Will it be full time?  What company do I decide to work for?  What if I can't get hired? What if I am not competitive enough?  What if? There are many questions that circle my mind that make me apprehensive about even getting out.  Am I making the right decision?

So I guess all I am saying is that I am worried about the future.

What do they say?

If you don't have a plan for yourself, you'll be part of someone else's
I don't want to be part of someone else's plan, I want to be a part of my own.
